A bipartisan group of senators is close to reaching a consensus on the text of the stablecoin GENIUS Act after days of intense renegotiation, which could allow the bill's advancement process to continue. However, the text has not yet been finalized. Senate leadership is discussing a procedural path to resume consideration of the GENIUS Act, including amendment procedures and reconsideration motions.
