PANews reported on April 30 that according to Bitcoin Magazine, the Ministry of Education of El Salvador, in cooperation with the Bitcoin Office and Lina Seiche's "The Little HODLer" project, will launch a financial literacy project for children aged 7-13 called "What Is Money?", which is scheduled to be launched at the National Library this Sunday. The project will first be piloted in 50 public schools in La Libertad, a frontier area for Bitcoin applications, covering about 1,000 students.
The course covers basic financial knowledge such as currency history, demand differentiation, budget savings, etc., with a focus on the innovative features of Bitcoin. Students will receive 3 hours of training per week, and the teaching materials are developed by the educational institution The Little HODLer, which will be gradually expanded to grades 4-6. This move continues the country's investment in Bitcoin education, having previously launched the CUBO+ scholarship program and Bitcoin diploma courses for college students.
