PANews reported on May 11 that according to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin SV (BSV) investors are trying to restart the 2019 lawsuit against Binance, accusing Binance of delisting BSV, which caused its price to fall for a long time. The plaintiff's lawyer argued that a ruling made by the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal in July 2024 dismissed the "opportunity loss" claim against Binance for delisting the token, and the ruling should be reconsidered. The plaintiff requested $9 billion in compensation in the original case. If the lawsuit is restarted, the plaintiff seeks up to 10 billion pounds (GBP), or about $13 billion in compensation.

In April 2019, Binance announced that BSV failed to meet its listing criteria due to the actions of BSV founder Craig Wright, who is notorious in the cryptocurrency world for falsely claiming to be Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. Subsequently, Binance delisted BSV.
