PANews reported on March 11 that according to Coindesk, the Bitcoin Ordinals project Taproot Wizards plans to auction 2,121 NFTs to raise $34 million. The project sold 3,000 "quantum cats" last year to raise support for the Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIP) OP_CAT. Despite being plagued by technical problems, the series sold out quickly, raising 300 BTC in the process. Starting March 25, Wizards will be sold to whitelisted buyers at a price of 0.2BTC ($16,000), and unsold ones will be sold in a Dutch auction.
