PANews reported on May 6 that according to Bitcoin.com, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, the fifth richest man in Mexico and owner of TV Azteca and Grupo Electra, gave investment advice to his fans on the social media platform X, pushing Bitcoin. He bluntly stated that investing in real estate is not a wise move, saying "real estate is a bad investment, don't be fooled by appearances", and advised potential investors to stay away from this field. He said, "Buying a house for self-use is consumption, buying a house for rent is nonsense", and in comparison, investing in Bitcoin is more desirable. Salinas also joked that adopting this advice may help people become one of the very few rich people in the world.
