PANews reported on May 8 that according to Linea’s official announcement, users will be exempted from L2-side Gas fees when transferring from the Ethereum mainnet to the Linea network through its native bridge tool, which is applicable to L1→L2 transfers with a single Gas consumption of less than 250,000. USDC bridged via Circle CCTP is not included in this discount, and users still need to pay for the basic Gas on the L1 side.
