PANews reported on December 6 that OpenAI announced this morning the launch of a fully upgraded o1 model, which has been fully launched in ChatGPT, replacing the previous o1-preview. The new version of the o1 model has significantly improved performance. It not only performs better in reasoning, programming, mathematics, and writing, but also supports image uploading and visual reasoning functions, and reduces the error rate of complex problems by 34%. In addition, OpenAI has launched a new subscription plan. ChatGPT Plus users ($20/month) can use o1 today, and Pro users ($200/month) can also get a stronger reasoning mode and unlimited access. In the future, o1 will support API integration as well as web browsing and file upload functions.
