PANews reported on April 25 that according to the New York Times, U.S. Congressional documents show that Trump's long-time ally Roger J. Stone Jr. has been lobbying for "Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver, who is currently facing federal fraud and criminal tax charges. Since February of this year, Roger Ver has paid Roger J. Stone Jr. $600,000 to seek his help in trying to abolish the core tax clauses that constitute the relevant charges. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Roger Ver lived in California and gave up his U.S. citizenship in 2014. He was arrested in Spain last year, and the Department of Justice announced plans to extradite him at the time.
