PANews reported on April 24 that according to CoinDesk, the TON Foundation behind the TON blockchain associated with Telegram announced the appointment of Maximilian Crown, co-founder of the encrypted payment infrastructure MoonPay, as the new CEO. Crown previously served as MoonPay's chief financial officer and chief operating officer, and has extensive connections in the banking industry, payment companies and regulators. After taking office, he will retain a seat on the MoonPay board of directors.
