PANews reported on May 16 that Zhao Changpeng released several security tips on preventing phishing attacks: 1. Never reveal your password to anyone claiming to be a "customer service staff". Real customer service staff will never ask users for their passwords. 2. Do not click on links received in emails. Only log in to your account by manually entering the URL or through bookmarks. Before entering any password, be sure to triple-confirm that the website is not a phishing website. 3. Do not use the same password on multiple websites. Use a password manager so that you can set a unique and strong password for each website. The password manager will not match your password on the phishing website domain. 4. Use hardware two-factor authentication (2FA) like Yubikey. These devices can prevent most phishing attacks.
