PANews reported on May 6 that according to Protos, after the co-founder of Zerebro, Jeffy Yu, was reported to have committed suicide, his address was still active and transferred a large amount of cryptocurrency. X user and cryptocurrency commentator @RepeatAfterVee revealed that the address (G5sjgjPdFdoz7hRa49yDobeSdqMooCmDwsCUERqLTfyr) was still "selling ZEREBRO", and then transferred USDC to the HTX exchange, and the funds subsequently flowed to another address owned by Jeffy and created the LLJeffy token. The authenticity of the only website that seemed to confirm his death was questioned. The paid publishing website only scored 1.3 stars on Trust pilot. X users such as cryptocurrency detective dethective doubted the authenticity of his death and believed that "pretending to be dead" might be a scam escape strategy.
