PANews reported on February 23 that ResearchHub, a tokenized social network founded by Coinbase CEO, has announced the completion of a new round of financing of US$2 million, with participation from BoostVC, aiming to further leverage its ResearchCoin (RSC) tokens to incentivize scientists to publicly share academic content and build decentralized scientific collaboration and publishing tools to promote research collaboration, feedback, and knowledge sharing among researchers. As previously reported, ResearchHub is building a platform where anyone can earn cryptocurrency rewards by contributing new knowledge to the global scientific community. Users earn ResearchCoin (RSC) by publishing content to ResearchHub, and the amount of RSC received is proportional to how valuable the content is to other members of the community.
