PANews reported on May 8 that according to Bloomberg, G7 leaders plan to discuss North Korea's hacking attacks on the crypto industry during the June Canadian summit. North Korean hackers have launched 47 attacks since 2023, stealing more than $1.3 billion in digital assets, and stole another $1.5 billion from Bybit in early 2025. The report pointed out that the relevant funds were used to circumvent sanctions and finance weapons of mass destruction projects, which aroused great international concern.
