PANews reported on May 7 that according to the official blog, Polygon Labs announced that Agglayer CDK (formerly Polygon CDK) is developing towards a multi-chain stack, introducing the CDK OP Stack configuration, which comes with a native Agglayer connection function. Developers can use this configuration to start a high-performance, low-cost OP Stack chain connected to Agglayer, with zero-knowledge proof efficiency and no connection fee. Currently, the OP Stack configuration coexists with the old Erigon CDK that supports custom tokens and ZK security. In addition, Polygon Labs is considering adding chain stacks such as Arbitrum Orbit and ABC Stack to Agglayer CDK to make it a native chain stack.
