PANews reported on November 5th that, according to its official blog, the liquidity staking protocol Lido announced the integration of the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Standard (CCIP). The Chainlink CCIP will serve as the official cross-chain infrastructure for encapsulating staked Ethereum (wstETH). Through this integration, all wstETH cross-chain transfers will utilize the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, with security provided by the Chainlink CCIP. Over the next few months, wstETH will gradually deploy this new infrastructure across all 16 chains in phases, with the implementation process involving multiple detailed steps. Furthermore, early expansion of wstETH onto chains such as Plasma, Monad, Ink, and 0G is already underway through CCIP.
