Nubila and Wyze partner to launch AI-powered, on-chain oracle-verified smart home system

PANews reported on October 23rd that according to official news, Nubila, the world's leading decentralized physical oracle, announced that it will jointly launch the world's first AI-driven, on-chain oracle-verified Weather-based Smart Home Intelligence with the American smart home unicorn Wyze. In the future, the two parties will also cooperate on data and AI based on more smart homes, home robots and other fields.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Seattle, USA, Wyze is one of the fastest-growing smart home and IoT companies in North America. Its products include smart cameras, lighting, central air conditioning controllers, and irrigation control systems. Global device shipments have exceeded 100 million units, with over 10 million monthly active users. Leveraging its open API architecture and vast device network, Wyze has become one of the world's largest smart home platforms.

In this collaboration, Wyze's smart irrigation system is integrated with Nubila's Matrix smart sprinkler model. Based on Nubila's decentralized, real-time, hyperlocal weather data, this model dynamically determines optimal irrigation timing and water usage through evapotranspiration (ET) and water balance algorithms, maximizing plant growth while achieving precise water conservation. In large-scale trials in California, the Matrix system achieved 30%–50% water bill savings, making it a significant breakthrough in North American household spending. The system is currently integrated into tens of thousands of North American households. If it becomes more widely adopted, it could reduce water waste by approximately $4 billion annually in California alone. Future applications for this system include precision agriculture, golf courses, and park management.

The two parties will use this collaboration as a starting point to integrate smart home and weather data with AI, apply this system to more practical products such as lighting and air conditioning control, and build a physical data infrastructure for agentic intelligence. This will enable future home robots and AI agents to make decisions and collaborate based on real-world signals, laying the data intelligence foundation for the agentic economy.
