According to a news release from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, at the "Key Enterprise Signing Ceremony" held by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Key Enterprise Introduction Office (Key Enterprise Introduction Office) yesterday, Web3 head security company CertiK officially signed a contract to become a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong. The company's Chief Technology Officer Dr. Li Kang attended the signing ceremony on behalf of CertiK and signed a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government together with 17 other companies from the high-tech industry.

The signing ceremony was held under the witness of Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po and attracted more than 200 representatives from key enterprises, local and foreign chambers of commerce, scientific research institutions, universities, financial and professional service companies, and relevant government departments. A total of 18 companies from the fields of advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology and life science and health technology joined the ranks of key enterprises. As the only company focusing on Web3 security, CertiK has become an important force in promoting the construction of an international innovation and technology center in Hong Kong with its experience and technical advantages in the field of blockchain security.

Dr. Li Kang, CTO of CertiK, said after the ceremony: “Hong Kong has world-class financial and technology talents and maintains close international ties. In recent years, the SAR government has actively promoted Web3.0, introduced multiple virtual asset policy frameworks, and implemented a virtual asset service provider (VASP) authorization system. The company’s goal is to set an industry benchmark for virtual asset compliance audits, contribute to the development of related industries, and enhance Hong Kong’s global competitiveness.”

The Office of Introducing New Technologies said it will work with other government departments to provide comprehensive services to key companies including CertiK, accelerate their business in Hong Kong, and promote the sustained growth of the innovation and technology industry. In the future, CertiK plans to take advantage of Hong Kong's locational advantages and policy support to deepen cooperation with local scientific research institutions and companies, and contribute to the diversified development of Hong Kong's economy.
