PANews reported on April 29 that according to The Block, cryptocurrency venture capital firm Pantera Capital announced the appointment of former Kraken Chief Legal Officer Marco Santori as general partner to expand the crypto asset portfolio. Santori said that joining Pantera comes at a critical time when global governments recognize the value of blockchain technology.

Santori served as Kraken's head of legal affairs from 2020 to January 2025. He previously served as chief legal officer at Blockchain.com and participated in the development of SAFT, a framework for compliant token issuance. He has long participated in congressional hearings as an industry representative and currently serves as a consultant for several projects.
