This round of financing was led by Greenoaks ($500 million), with participation from Lightspeed Venture and a16z. SSI is committed to developing systems that go beyond existing AI models, focusing on achieving breakthroughs that surpass human intelligence. The company was founded in June 2024 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California and Tel Aviv, Israel.
