PANews reported on May 7 that according to Binance’s announcement, Bhutan, in conjunction with Binance Pay and the local DK Bank, launched the world’s first national tourism crypto payment system, where travelers can use cryptocurrencies to pay for visas, flights, accommodation, tour guides, attractions, roadside stalls and more than 100 merchant services. The system supports more than 100 crypto assets and is settled in real time by DK Bank into local currency, helping merchants in remote areas to digitize and reflecting the practical application and innovative value of crypto technology in inclusive finance and cultural tourism.
