PANews reported on April 8 that according to TFN, Bitcoin mortgage open market Firefish completed a $1.8 million seed round of financing, with Braiins, the creator of Braiins OS, and venture capital firm Miton participating in the investment. The funds will be used to further expand Firefish's institutional loan program to cover more investors and high-net-worth individuals seeking traditional investments in the Bitcoin field.
According to reports, Firefish was launched in 2022 and is built natively on Bitcoin using multi-signature escrow contracts, price and payment oracles, and pre-signed recovery transactions. Its vision is to create an open lending market with minimized trust.
