PANews reported on April 4 that according to Coindesk, French Hill, Chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee, and Glenn Thompson, Chairman of the Agriculture Committee, jointly proposed six principles to guide digital asset legislation to address digital asset regulatory issues. The six principles include: promoting innovation, clarifying asset classification, regulating the issuance framework of new digital assets, establishing supervision of spot market exchanges and intermediaries, establishing best practices for customer asset protection, and protecting innovative decentralized projects and activities.
