PANews reported on May 7 that Crypto.com is expanding its business in the United States by setting up a new office in the center of the U.S. capital. The Singapore-based exchange is setting up a branch in Washington, D.C., close to the White House, at a time when it is influencing U.S. cryptocurrency policy by increasing its lobbying efforts on the U.S. Congress. The expansion comes after Crypto.com established its North American headquarters in Texas last October.

“The U.S. market is core to Crypto.com’s growth strategy and represents the most exciting opportunity for our entire industry,” said Matt David, President of North America and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Crypto.com. “With an increasingly mature regulatory environment under the current administration, expanding our operations and talent pool in the nation’s capital will help us work together to responsibly advance our business and industry.”
