PANews reported on April 10 that according to an official announcement from Google Cloud, Google officially released the new "application-centric" AI cloud platform Firebase Studio, which provides the tools and agent capabilities required to build full-stack AI applications, supporting developers to efficiently complete the application development process on the same platform. The product is now open for use. The platform integrates two major AI tools, Gemini Code Assist and Cloud Assist, to help developers and operation and maintenance teams improve efficiency throughout the application life cycle. The highlights of this update include:
Application Design Center and Cloud Hub, now in public preview, simplify application architecture design, deployment, and management;
Gemini Code Assist supports natural language generation of code, tests, documents, etc., covering multiple IDE environments, including Android Studio and Firebase Studio;
Gemini Cloud Assist integrates AI troubleshooting and cost optimization capabilities, and supports application architecture deployment and problem analysis based on natural language;
An enterprise developer trial program is now open, providing access to a development sandbox and AI tools for $75 per month.
