PANews reported on April 3 that according to Cointelegraph, in response to the " permanent removal of the Bitcoin development group BitcoinDev mailing list by Google ", Bitcoin core developer Bryan Bishop said that the ban may be triggered by individuals or robots making large-scale reports to the Bitcoin mailing list through multiple accounts. Bishop said that this is a common method used by attackers to try to ban or censor a community, and pointed out that similar incidents often occur on YouTube, X and TikTok. Bishop suggested that Bitcoin forums should not be limited to a specific platform, and there are several other platforms to discuss the development of Bitcoin, including GitHub and the decentralized social network Nostr.
