PANews reported on January 17 that Christine Kim, vice president of Galaxy Research, summarized the 203rd Ethereum Core Developer Executive (ACDE) conference call, which discussed the release and specification update of Pectra Devnet 5, the test plan for increasing the gas fee limit on the Holesky test network, RPC standardization work, and minimum node hardware and bandwidth requirements. EF Developer Operations Engineer Parithosh Jayanthi said that he found gas fee estimation problems on Devnet 5 and planned to collect logs to share on the R&D Discord channel. The developers also reached a preliminary consensus on multiple EIP updates and set a timetable for Pectra to upgrade the test network and main network, with the goal of completing the main network upgrade in March 2025.
