PANews reported on May 20 that according to IT Home, Apple has been testing its self-developed AI chatbot internally and has made significant progress in the past six months. Several Apple executives believe that the system is now close to the latest level of ChatGPT. Although it has not yet been deployed in public products, Apple is considering giving Siri the ability to crawl information online, and the future version of "Siri 2.0" is expected to be released in the later stage of iOS 19.
