PANews reported on October 24th that, according to Cointelegraph, Swiss pure-play Bitcoin investment app Relai has become the latest Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) to be approved under the EU's crypto asset regulatory framework. Official records indicate that the French financial markets regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), issued Relai a Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) license on Thursday. Founded in Zurich in 2020, Relai operates a pure Bitcoin platform, offering Bitcoin buying, selling, and storage services. It uses a self-custodial model, allowing users full control over their assets. The MiCA license allows Relai to offer a number of regulated Bitcoin investment-related services on its app. This license authorizes Relai to support Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payments within the EU and offers higher Euro transaction limits.
