PANews reported on October 24th that, according to The Verge, Anthropic announced the launch of a "Memories" upgrade for Claude, allowing past chats to be remembered without prompting. Max subscribers can enable this feature today in their settings, with Team and Enterprise support arriving in September. Pro will roll out in the coming days, though whether it will be available to free users has not yet been announced. Users can view, edit, or close specific memories, create "Memory Spaces" to separate projects, and support importing from ChatGPT and Gemini, as well as exporting at any time (referred to as "unlocked").
Anthropic will launch a "memory" feature for Claude that doesn't require prompting, and will gradually open it to paying users.
