November 4-5, New York: Reshaping a New Chapter in Finance (Live stream from the main venue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWI1OIvPZjA )
SmartCon is Chainlink's flagship annual conference and one of the top industry events, bringing together leaders from the finance, Web3, and government sectors to discuss the integration of traditional finance with the on-chain world. Last year, Chainlink brought the third SmartCon to Asia, hosting it in Hong Kong to great acclaim. This year, Chainlink returns to the city that first hosted SmartCon—New York City—on November 4-5 to continue sharing the most important developments in the blockchain industry and exploring the future of the global financial system.
Chainlink is a pioneer in collaborating with traditional finance within the blockchain industry, having already established on-chain partnerships with numerous central banks, government agencies, and large financial institutions. This year's SmartCon continues the theme of integrating traditional finance with DeFi, bringing together governments, financial institutions, and leading Web3 projects to discuss how blockchain technology is reshaping markets, public services, and the global economy.
Speakers included U.S. Representative Bryan Steil from Wisconsin, one of the original co-sponsors of the House Crypto Market Structure Act CLARITY; Patrick Witt, Executive Director of the White House Digital Assets Advisory Council; David Mills, Senior Deputy Director of the Federal Reserve Board; and representatives from leading institutions and DeFi projects such as Euroclear, DTCC, Swift, JPMorgan Chase, UBS, WisdomTree, Citibank, Fidelity, Aave, Ondo, Solana, 21X, and Maple Finance.
