PANews reported on October 28th that MetaMask announced on the X platform the launch of multi-chain accounts, increasing user asset loading speeds by 30 times. Originally designed solely as an Ethereum wallet, MetaMask now offers native support for Ethereum's Layer 2 network and other EVM-compatible networks; Snap plugins extend wallet functionality and allow for connection to non-EVM networks. Thanks to architectural improvements, MetaMask now natively supports non-EVM networks like Solana, with support for Bitcoin-like networks expected soon.
