CNBC's latest episode, "The Birth of a Crypto Millionaire," analyzed and reviewed the latest data and profiles of crypto millionaires:
Globally, over 240,000 people hold over $1 million in crypto assets, including 70,000 new holders. Furthermore, there are 450 crypto multi-millionaires (with assets exceeding $100 million) and 36 crypto billionaires, a rapidly expanding group.
These newly wealthy individuals are driving real-world consumption and investment trends. Economists' research shows that for every dollar of new crypto wealth, investors spend an average of 10 cents, resulting in an estimated $200 billion in new spending this year. As early investors mature into their 30s and 40s, buying a Lamborghini is gradually being replaced by buying a house. Data shows that areas with high concentrations of crypto users have experienced significantly higher-than-average house price increases during the bull market.
