Xiaohongshu released its AI-driven content governance proposals, demanding clear labeling and strict control over counterfeiting and infringement.

PANews reported on April 27th that Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) today released its "AI Governance Strategy," encouraging creators to use AI to improve creative efficiency and output. However, it requires creators to accurately label AI-related content; content not actively labeled will be uniformly labeled by the platform. The platform emphasizes upholding the red lines of authenticity and safety, explicitly opposing the use of AI for fraud, infringement, and other misconduct. It stated that it will continue to build its AI content recognition and governance capabilities and has launched an appeal channel for AI-generated notes' "notice prompts" to support creative activities while ensuring authenticity and safety.
