PANews reported on April 24 that according to CoinDesk, the popular TV series "Peaky Blinders" will be adapted into a blockchain-based video game and a wider Web3 ecosystem. The series has accumulated more than 80 million viewers through platforms such as Netflix. The adaptation is jointly promoted by Web3 development agency Anonymous Labs and copyright holder Banijay Rights. The game is positioned as a 3A work, set in the streets of Britain in the 1920s, and players can participate in the interaction by completing high-risk tasks and creating family industries.
Wojciech Gruszka, the project development leader, said that this will be a landmark event for the largest IP to date to enter the blockchain field. The game will include digital collections and a blockchain-based community interaction mechanism, aiming to attract traditional audiences into the crypto world through immersive narratives. Anonymous Labs has previously successfully operated the Simon's Cat animation IP token project. At present, details such as the specific token mechanism, launch time and economic model have not been disclosed.
