PANews reported on May 6 that according to Aave officials, the ARFC proposal for deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet has been approved by the community. The next stage will be to submit the AIP (Aave Improvement Proposal) for on-chain voting, after which it will be officially launched.

According to the proposal released on the Aave Governance Forum on April 16, the Aave community has started the governance process of deploying Aave V3 to the Aptos mainnet. This is the first time that Aave has entered a non-EVM chain, aiming to improve the performance of the protocol and expand the user base by leveraging the high throughput, low cost and security features of the Move language of Aptos. Deployed assets include APT, USDC, USDT, sUSDe, and risk parameters have been provided by Chaos Labs and Llama Risk. The Aptos Foundation also promises to provide up to 2 million APT liquidity incentive support.
