PANews reported on May 15 that according to The Block, the Singapore High Court recently approved the compulsory liquidation application filed by Sonic Labs (formerly Fantom Foundation) against the Multichain Foundation and appointed KPMG Singapore as the liquidator. Sonic Labs lost about one-third of its $210 million attack on Multichain in 2023. Sonic was forced to file a lawsuit because Multichain refused to cooperate and the management lost contact. If the subsequent legal procedures go smoothly, the relevant funds are expected to be returned to users.
