PANews reported on May 13 that the Radiant DAO community proposed "compensation for losses caused by the unlimited authorization vulnerability" and plans to compensate victims of the "unlimited authorization vulnerability" through smart contracts, including compensation for the losses of unlimited authorized users caused by the vulnerability on October 16, 2024 (involving Arbitrum and BNB Chain), $7.7 million in 2024, and $1.2 million in the first quarter of 2025. The core content of the plan includes: deploying a claim contract on Arbitrum and allocating funds according to the proportion of user losses; merging all stolen tokens into a single stablecoin at market price (balances below $1 will be zeroed). The compensation will be carried out in stages and is expected to take several years. During this period, users can check the progress through a dedicated portal. Funds will be used to compensate RFP-47 proposal users first, and the remaining part will be used for victims of this proposal. If the stolen funds are recovered, they will be distributed to all affected users in proportion. It should be noted that if the partner fails to contribute funds as planned, the relevant compensation may not be executed.
