PANews reported on April 24 that according to Cointelegraph, British fintech giant Revolut announced its 2024 financial report, showing that its pre-tax profit doubled to 1 billion pounds (1.3 billion U.S. dollars), a record high. The company's full-year revenue jumped from 1.8 billion pounds in 2023 to 3.1 billion pounds, of which the recovery of cryptocurrency trading drove the wealth management department's revenue to surge nearly fourfold to 506 million pounds. In 2024, Revolut added nearly 15 million new users, and the total number of users exceeded 50 million. Although total customer deposits increased from US$23.9 billion to US$39.8 billion, converting existing users into core banking customers remains a challenge. Paid subscription revenue increased 74% year-on-year to 423 million pounds, and corporate service revenue accounted for 15%. CEO Nik Storonsky said Revolut's goal is to cover 100 countries and reach 100 million daily active users.
