PANews reported on April 29 that according to The Block, the Bitcoin re-pledge platform Lombard has reached a cooperation with the Eigen Foundation, which is responsible for supervising the governance of the Ethereum re-pledge protocol EigenLayer, to introduce Lombard's liquid pledge token LBTC into the EigenLayer re-pledge ecosystem. This cooperation allows Bitcoin holders to obtain basic income through the Babylon protocol, while participating in EigenLayer re-pledge to obtain additional rewards. Jacob Phillips, co-founder of Lombard, said that this is the first time that Bitcoin has been connected to the re-pledge ecosystem in the form of LBTC, marking a breakthrough in Bitcoin's transformation from a store of value to a yield tool. The two parties also plan to strengthen Bitcoin's re-pledge security and reduction design through cooperation in the next six months.
