Among them, the urban area fell by 0.1% and the rural area fell by 0.3%; food prices fell by 1.4%, non-food prices rose by 0.2%; consumer goods prices fell by 0.4%, and service prices rose by 0.3%. On average from January to March, the national consumer price index fell by 0.1% compared with the same period last year.

China's CPI annual rate in March was -0.1%, in line with expectations of 0% and the previous value of -0.70%.
