PANews reported on December 26 that Mocaverse said on the X platform that this morning, the official X account @ysiu of Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu was lost due to unauthorized access despite the setting of two-factor authentication (2FA). Criminals used the account to publish false information and links about a fake SOLANA token. It has been confirmed that the X platform has regained control of the @ysiu account and is currently verifying the true ownership of the account. Evidence suggests that this may be an identity theft incident because standard security measures (such as two-factor authentication) have been implemented on the account. Stronger security solutions are being considered and implemented. None of the official accounts of Animoca Brands, Moca Network or MOCA Foundation have been lost, and strict security measures have been taken. As a security measure, all key members and official accounts have updated all authentications. No other vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities have been found.
