PANews reported on March 14 that according to Jinshi, the WeChat Security Center issued an announcement stating that it had recently received user complaints that some criminals induced users to jump to third-party platforms in the name of "high-yield financial management", "guaranteed profit without loss", "insider information", etc., falsely claiming to provide stock recommendations, virtual currency trading, foreign exchange investment and other services, but in fact they carried out fraud by falsifying data, manipulating price fluctuations, closing platforms and other means. The WeChat team will continue to strengthen the crackdown on false investment and financial fraud. For the above-mentioned illegal acts, after verification and confirmation, we will impose tiered penalties on the relevant accounts according to the severity of the violation. The WeChat Security Center reminds that investment is risky, and any investment project claiming "guaranteed high returns" and "low-risk and huge profits" is suspected of fraud. Please do not trust financial recommendations from informal channels, and do not transfer money to unfamiliar accounts or disclose personal financial information.
