PANews reported on May 13 that US President Trump received a $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, and Trump signed an agreement on energy, defense, mining and other fields in Riyadh. According to a White House briefing, the United States agreed to sell nearly $142 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, calling it the "largest defense cooperation agreement" ever reached by Washington. The agreement covers transactions with more than a dozen US defense companies in areas such as air and missile defense, air force and space development, maritime security and communications.
