PANews reported on April 24 that according to Cointelegraph, the decentralized telecommunications infrastructure project Helium announced a partnership with the US telecommunications giant AT&T to connect its community-built WiFi network to the AT&T service system. According to the agreement, AT&T users can now access Helium's more than 93,500 hotspot nodes (mainly located in the United States) around the world, which are operated by individuals and companies and maintain network expansion through digital asset incentives.

Amir Haleem, CEO of Helium Mobile, said that this cooperation will accelerate the commercialization of decentralized networks, and users can achieve automatic authentication access through AT&T's Passpoint WiFi roaming service. Currently, Helium's network has more than 800,000 daily active users. It has previously reached a similar cooperation with Mexican telecommunications company Telefónica and launched the first free mobile phone package in the United States in February 2025.
