PANews reported on April 7 that according to a recent announcement by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand, OKX's operating entity Aux Cayes FinTech Co. Ltd. has been providing digital asset trading services in Thailand without a license since October 15, 2021, and has promoted it through websites and social platforms. This behavior violates Article 26 of Thailand's Digital Asset Business Act and constitutes a criminal offense. The case has been transferred to the Economic Crime Investigation Department for handling. If convicted, OKX and the nine related promoters may face 2 to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to 10,000 baht per day.
