Tether minted 2 billion authorized but unissued USDT on the Ethereum network in the early morning

PANews reported on November 12 that according to Whale Alert monitoring, around 01:07 am Beijing time, Tether Treasury minted 2 billion USDT on Ethereum. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said this was an authorized but unissued transaction, which means it will be used as inventory for the next issuance request and on-chain exchange.
