Ethereum Layer2 network Arbitrum announced that it will invest $10 million in blockchain game projects through the newly established venture capital program Arbitrum Gaming Ventures. This fund is part of the $200 million plan funded by Arbitrum DAO, which focuses on supporting the construction of early projects within the Arbitrum ecosystem. This is the first major fund under the plan, and venture capital firms Paradigm, Framework Ventures and BITKRAFT are also involved. Gnosis has acquired Singapore-based on-chain financial operations platform HQ.xyz for $14.95 million. The investment includes $8.95 million from the GnosisDAO treasury, which was approved by a DAO vote in January 2025, and $6 million from Gnosis Ltd. for operating expenses over the next two years. The acquisition is one of the largest investments in the Gnosis ecosystem. At 01:10 a.m., Lookonchain posted on the X platform: "In the past 12 hours, Abraxas Capital has purchased another 33,482 ETH (worth $84.7 million), bringing its total purchases in the past 6 days to 211,030 ETH (worth $477.6 million)." Twenty One Capital (ticker: CEP), a cryptocurrency investment firm backed by Cantor Fitzgerald, Tether and SoftBank, has purchased 4,812 bitcoins worth $458.7 million, the first of many buy orders the firm has committed to. The purchase was made by stablecoin issuer Tether shortly after Twenty One Capital was formed, according to a securities filing on Tuesday. The transaction was based on an agreement to use the gross proceeds from a subscription agreement related to a convertible debt offering by a publicly traded entity. The initial allocation, referred to in the “Initial PIPE Bitcoin” transaction, was transferred to a wallet controlled by Tether. Tether will sell the bitcoins to the publicly traded company for $458.7 million upon completion of the business merger.
