PANews reported on April 9 that according to Cryptonews, Glassnode chief analyst James Check posted on the X platform that historically, Ethereum has lagged behind Bitcoin in most market cycles. Since Ethereum was launched in 2015, it has outperformed Bitcoin in only 15% of trading days. Ethereum briefly surpassed Bitcoin in the early days, especially from mid-2015 to mid-2017, and from late 2019 to early 2020. Bitcoin has been dominant since the beginning of 2020. The ETH/BTC ratio has now fallen to a five-year low of 0.018, the lowest level since December 2019. At the time, the price of Ethereum was $125, while Bitcoin was trading at around $7,000.
