According to Xinhua News Agency on October 2, the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization recently issued a communiqué stating that personnel from the organization and other scientific research institutions have developed world's most efficient blockchain protocol "MatRiCT." It can not only resist attacks from quantum computers, but also protect the privacy of users and their transactions. It is reported that MatRiCT is a set of rules governing the operation of blockchain networks, introducing three new key features: It is the shortest quantum secure ring signature scheme to date, which only uses signatures to authenticate activities and transactions; "Zero knowledge proof" is used to hide sensitive transaction information; The auditable function can help prevent the illegal use of cryptocurrency.
