PANews reported on May 21 that according to Decrypt, American tourist Irwin-Cline was drugged and controlled after mistakenly taking a fake Uber vehicle in London. After unlocking his phone, his encrypted wallet was stolen, with a total loss of $123,000, including $72,000 in XRP and $50,000 in BTC. The incident occurred in the early morning of May 9. The suspect used the drug scopolamine to make him unconscious and induce him to hand over his password. The case is still under investigation, and the police remind people to be vigilant against physical robbery methods such as "wrench attacks".
